Self Portrait Assessment

          When taking my photos for my self portrait I chose to incorporate a painted stool to repeat throughout the three pictures. I used studio lighting from the left hand side in the photos and positioned myself standing, kneeling, and holding the stool. Because my face isn't shown, and the photos get slightly darker as you move up, the focus becomes centered on my clothing, the stool, and on the whimsical to eerie sort of air that the images give off. By juxtaposing the three photos vertically, it also helps to add a story line.
